OUR PROCESS
CURATED. is a process-driven company behind the scenes; and that allows us to seamlessly deliver finished projects in ways that look like magic to our clients on the front end. Our mission is to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional, and represent your vision. Our simple process allows us to conceptualize ideas with precision, and execute on seamlessly them every step of the way. Step 1 - Understanding Your Vision
We don’t put a contract in front of you after the first call. Our team prides itself in truly getting to know you, and ensuring that CURATED. is the best fit for your (Miami, South Florida, Nationwide, or select Caribbean island nations) interior design project. During this initial discovery process, we’ll also discuss rough numbers (including fees and budgets), as well as creating a moodboard for your project. These discussions will empower you to confidently assess whether our ideas complement your own and our firm is a good match for your current design needs.
Once we are formally working together, we’ll revisit all of the comments and insights captured during our initial discovery process and discuss the project in full detail before getting started, ensuring that no new ideas are left behind.
Step 2 - Design Phase
Our design team will be curating exclusive, innovative and thoughtful design elements specific to your project. Powered by 21st-century technology, design meetings can take place virtually, or in person, based on your needs. You will be given access to a design portal where you’ll be able to review and approve each and every aspect of your design.
When construction is involved, we usually prioritize architectural features over furnishings and decor. This way we can be efficient in the process and pass along your specifications to select contractors while we are working on your finishes and other design elements.
Step 3 - Procurement
As a full-service agency, we have the network and setup to handle all of your furniture & decor procurement end-to-end. Our in-house procurement team processes and tracks all orders on your behalf, leaving you stress-free about orders & shipments throughout your entire project. If desired, we can receive, inspect, and store all of your inventory at our own warehouse; eliminating the need for a third party service and thus making it a truly uncomplicated experience.
Step 4 - Quoting
(If applicable) - Quoting, if desired, is handled by our team. It is essential to note that an accurate construction budget will only be available after the design phase is complete, as general contractors and subcontractors need those specifics to estimate their services and pricing.
Having the right handover meetings and relaying your approved design concept to select contractors is key.
Step 5 - Execution
The execution phase is when the design implementation begins. Once approved and quoted, we can handle all-round project management, including the oversight of production, delivery, and installation of every design element. Our in-house team of project managers will assist in coordination and plan periodic site visits to ensure the project is moving along as designed.
Step 6 - Installation
As soon as any construction or upgrades have been completed, our logistics team will deliver and install all of the remaining furnishings and/or decor elements necessary to fully complete your project. Final staging and accessorizing services are available; and, if possible, we always love to schedule a grand reveal!
